Note: Make sure our pups are wearing their vests while on trails where dogs are prohibited. You do get a lot of looks from people so it helps calm their responses when they see the 'Guide Dog in Training' vests.

> A service animal and service animal in training can go anywhere its guardian or trainer can go. 28 C.F.R. § 36.302(c)(7); CRS 24-34-803(1). So, yes, the trainer can take the service animal in training into areas on OSMP where dogs are prohibited. However, the trainer must keep the dog harnessed, tethered or on a leash. 28 C.F.R. § 36.302(c)(4). The city is not responsible for the care or supervision of a service animal. 28 C.F.R. § 36.302(c)(5).
